地震时怎样保护自己

Chapter 269 - 270: Offset (2)

It was the first time that Lu Weixi had helped Qin Zhiyou pack his luggage.

In the past, Qin Zhiyou had Secretary Wang for work matters and Aunt Hao for personal life matters. But this time Aunt Hao didn’t come over to the West Mountain villa and, while there were servants at the Qin Family’s mansion, once Qin Zhiyou had asked, Lu Weixi naturally felt embarrassed to call them over. Eighty percent of their exchanges revolved around how much living expense he would give her for the few days he returned home every month.

So, over here, Qin Zhiyou had a servant make him a pot of black tea. He sat on the sofa, sipping his Kung Fu tea, while watching Lu Weixi pack up his things with great interest.

Packing for a man is actually not as complicated as for a woman. All she had to do was prepare his suits, shoes, shirts, ties, and watches. There was no need for cosmetics or to prepare a lot of jewelry.

Qin Zhiyou just sat there on the sofa, watching her take out all his stuff. First, she laid them out in categories on the bed, and then packed them into the suitcase one by one.

Despite the size of the Qin Family mansion, there were many people living there. Hence, there was not much room to go around. The bedroom she shared with Qin Zhiyou was similar to a master suite, it had a bathroom, but there was no separate dressing room or study. Also, since they moved out, they didn’t store a lot of stuff here. Qin Zhimei and Qin Zhizha both had separate dressing rooms. Packing would be more convenient in a dressing room.

While Lu Weixi was fetching things, some smaller items were stored at the lowest part of the wardrobe. She could only kneel on the ground, reaching into it to look for items.

Qin Zhiyou was drinking tea. He looked up to see her kneeling on the floor packing his items. It was already summer, and after she returned to the room, she changed into a silky nightgown. The cool, fitting nightgown clearly outlined her body shape. She had an outstanding figure to begin with, and now having been married to him for several years, she had an added mature charm. He had been as abstinent as a monk for a week because of her period, and now they were about to part once again…

He quietly set down his cup, took off his slippers, and barefooted, he silently walked towards her.

Inside the lower compartments were his ties and tie pins. She took some time to fish them out and was just about to stand up when she noticed him silently appearing behind her. He startled her, and with her legs feeling numb from squatting too long, she jumped slightly, “Zhiyou, why are you…”

Before she even finished her sentence, he was instantly closer. The tie pins and tie in her hand fell onto the ground with a clatter.

Her legs were numb, as was the rest of her. Especially since Qin Zhiyou pinned her against the wardrobe, with the wardrobe at her back, and he in front of her. Her calves were really numb, and her head slightly dizzy. After a while, she managed to slowly move away.

Qin Zhiyou stood in front of her, his eyes like chocolate nougat, with a thick sweetness to them. Yet his voice was like the tea he had just been drinking, initially slightly bitter, full-bodied, but careful tasting would reveal a hint of sweetness.

Qin Zhiyou lowered his eyelashes, “I just helped your mother, and now I’ve helped you as well.”

It was a statement.

“So, how are you going to compensate?”

Qin Zhiyou is such a cheapskate. Every bit of effort he spends requires her to pay the price.

She knew it, all the hustle and bustle he went through, he would never come away empty-handed. The wool comes from the sheep, so since all the effort was spent on her, he certainly intended to get it back from her..
