Florida Man in Magus World: Unleashing Liberty and Freedom

Chapter 134: Florida Man Crafts Homebrew Beer While Apocalypse Happens Outside. "Beer is perfect during apocalyse." Said Florida Man.

Note:

To make Spirit Beer, you\'ll need:

- 1 Spirit Potato

- 5 Liters of Water

- 10 Grams of Spirit Leavening Agents

- 200 Grams of Sugar

"Hmm? Did I just read...beer?!"

Felix\'s eyes widened, and his heart skipped a beat. It had been what felt like ages since he last tasted beer, and the mere thought of it had him sitting up and drooling in excitement.

The sudden movement startled Jiji, who stopped licking Felix\'s personal popsicle. She gazed up at him, confused.

"What\'s wrong, master?" Jiji\'s lips glistening as she looked into his eyes, but her four tongues still coiled around his body part.

A wide grin spread across Felix\'s face as he chuckled, "I think I just found myself a new hobby."

The idea of brewing his own beer was too tempting to pass up. Felix quickly navigated through the system shop, excitedly searching for the necessary ingredients.

Much to his delight, the spirit leavening agents were sold for a mere 10 years of lifespan or 10,000 mana per kilogram. Not wanting to waste any of his hard-earned lifespan, he chose to pay with mana instead, quickly replenishing the lost energy by selling some mana oil.

Before long, Felix had stocked up on 100kg of sugar, spirit yeast, spirit baking soda, and spirit baking powder, spending a cool million mana in the process. Although his mana pool dropped by half, it quickly restored to the max again after Felix exchanged more oil in reserve tank for mana.

Felix was elated, but he was also frustrated. He wished that he was a little smarter in the past and exploit this infinite money glitch earlier.

Realizing that he had almost infinite cash with this system and mana oil reserve, his excitement grew. Felix explored further, checking if spirit potatoes were available in the system shop.

They were, but at a hefty price. Instead of one year of lifespan like the farmer\'s offerings, they were listed for 10 years of lifespan each.

"Capitalism at its finest," Felix shook his head in amusement. "So much profit margin. Wow."

While part of him toyed with the idea of selling spirit potatoes himself for a better profit, Felix quickly shelved the thought. Making beer was the immediate priority.

For the booze!

For the glory!

For PARTY!

Sitting up straight on the bed, Felix eagerly moved the ingredients from his inventory screen to the system\'s alchemy tab. After pressing the start button, Felix crossed his fingers and hoped for the best.

His excitement got the best of him, and he absentmindedly reached out to caress Jiji\'s soft cheek. She returned the gesture, affectionately licking and sucking his fingers. Her eyes twinkled with mischief and dedication to her master.

*DING!*

The alchemy pot icon on his system interface started to shake, and a countdown timer appeared.

9:59…

9:58…

9:57…

"Ten minutes, huh? That\'s quick," Felix snickered as his mood brightened.

Feeling playful, he called Jiji over. He knew how to kill time during the wait.

"Come closer, Jiji."

Understanding his intent, the lamia princess slithered across the bed and climbed on top of him, her slender body curling around him with ease. She pressed her lips to his. Her four-tip forked tongue sliding into his mouth as they shared a passionate connection.

10 Minutes Later…

*DING!*

The system cauldron finished its work, and Jessica\'s voice chimed in.

<You have successfully brewed three liters of Spirit Potato Beer.>

<The item has been transferred to your inventory. Please be mindful when withdrawing the item, as it is a liquid.>

<I suggest preparing a keg or a container before withdrawing, to avoid spilling the beer everywhere.>

Felix glanced over while his mouth and Jiji\'s mouth were still sealed together. Their hips also slided up and down in rhythm. As his objective was completed, Felix rushed the activity.

Two minutes later, Jiji and Felix\'s hips slightly trembled. The exchange of fluid was completed.

Felix stopped the deed and returned his attention to the item. He smirked, feeling a rush of satisfaction as he envisioned his next steps.

"Three liters of beer in ten minutes? What if I keep making these?" He patted Jiji on the head while she coiled tighter around him. Her eyes half-closed in contentment.

While Felix and Jiji indulged in their carefree lifestyle of eating, sleeping, and constant intimacy, the Dragoon Empire descended into chaos.

The eclipse had wreaked havoc across the land. In Big Zoot City, ordinary townspeople had lost their sanity. Men rampaged through the streets, attacking and killing anyone they came across. Women, on the other hand, underwent horrifying transformations. Many mutated into monstrous forms.

Some became lamias, others morphed into goblins or orcs, while a few sprouted wings and turned into harpies. The majority, however, lost their humanoid shape entirely, shrinking into grotesque slimes, writhing blobs of what was once human flesh.

Only those with strong magic or aura had been able to resist the curse. These survivors took refuge inside their homes or in public buildings, waiting for the terrifying eclipse to pass.

Among them, Valley and Jane locked themselves away in the academy\'s female dormitory, seeking shelter from the madness unfolding outside.

Valley stood confidently by the window. Her gaze locked on the ominous purple moon that hung in the sky.

Unlike most people, she didn\'t see just the eerie glow or ominous aura of the eclipse. Valley\'s eyes, a gift inherited from her family\'s genes allowed her to see through all magic and illusion, no matter the distant.

And what she saw now intrigued her. There was a faint, barely visible magic circle etched onto the surface of the purple moon.

Her eyes sparkled with a dangerous intensity as she studied the pattern. Her voice, soft and filled with awe, escaped her lips as she muttered to herself, almost entranced by the sight. The details of the magic circle burned into her mind, and without wasting time, she turned to a nearby table. Pulling out a piece of parchment. Then, she began to sketch the pattern with precision.

But it wasn\'t enough for Valley. Her curiosity consumed her, and she dragged the table closer to the window. She stared intently at the moon while her hand moved as she meticulously drew the full circle.

Meanwhile, Jane sat between their beds. Her small frame trembled in terror. She could feel the growing darkness emanating from Valley and was deeply afraid of what her young lady had become.

Suddenly, Valley called out to her, but her voice was no longer her own. It echoed with a strange resonance, producing not one, but three female voices at once. "Jane, will you look at this?"

Jane\'s heart pounded as she looked up. Then, she muffledly shrieked.

Valley\'s transformation was nothing short of terrifying. Her once youthful features had warped into something far more sinister. Her pupils glowed with an unnatural, eerie yellow light, and her irises had morphed into sharp, snake-like slits, radiating menace.

As Jane watched in horror, Valley\'s body seemed to stretch and shift, growing several centimeters taller. Her once modest frame now boasted a fuller, more mature figure, with her bust subtly expanding, giving her the appearance of a woman in her early twenties.

But the physical changes didn\'t stop there. From beneath her skirt, a thin, black, pointed tail unfurled, slithering out from her lower back like a serpent. Its tip gleamed with a faint, dark energy, twitching as though it had a mind of its own. The once-innocent young lady had transformed into something far more dangerous.

She had become something that no longer seemed entirely human.

Jane could only stare, frozen in place by the overwhelming fear that gripped her soul. Her breath caught in her throat. Her body refused to move. Every instinct screamed at her to run and get as far away as possible, but the weight of Valley\'s presence pinned her down, paralyzing her with terror.

This was not just a physical transformation. Something far more ominous had taken hold of Valley. A dark power radiated from her very being, filling the room with an oppressive aura. The air around her seemed to ripple, as though reality itself was bending to her will. Valley\'s once kind innocent eyes were now filled with something cold, calculating, and otherworldly.

As Valley stepped closer, her voice echoed with the same unsettling resonance, three distinct voices layered over each other.

"Jane, look at me." Valley hissed.

Jane\'s knees buckled, barely able to support her weight, as fear gnawed at her insides. She fought to stay composed, but the sight of Valley\'s monstrous transformation sent her mind spiraling.

How could her young lady—someone she had known and trusted—change so drastically?

The first thing that flashed in her mind was Felix\'s face. Her heart ached with regret. If only she had stayed by Felix\'s side, if only she could turn back time and undo the choices that had led her here.

She longed to leave this place—this nightmare—immediately.

She wanted to go back to Felix\'s house.

She missed the good relaxing days.

Why did she come here?

WHY!?

"Jane," Valley\'s voice snapped her back to the present, now soft and normal again. She reached out, gently stroking Jane\'s hair as though nothing had changed. "Don\'t be afraid. I\'m still me. I will never hurt you."

Jane swallowed hard, but her throat was dry with terror. She looked up at Valley while her lower jaw trembled uncontrollably, causing her teeth to clatter. It took every ounce of her remaining courage to meet Valley\'s gaze.

"Y-Young lady," she stammered. "What did you do? W-Why are you transforming? Why was your voice… like that?"

Valley giggled. A chilling sound echoed in the quiet room. With a mischievous smirk, she flipped her skirt, revealing the long black tail that coiled menacingly behind her. She twirled, showing Jane the full length of its pointy sharp tip, swaying like a predator sizing up its prey.

"It\'s not so bad, Jane," Valley said casually, as though discussing something trivial. "As long as you embrace the dark mana from the moon, all the fear in your heart will vanish. You\'ll become stronger. Your aura will grow, and your body will evolve."

Jane recoiled in horror. She stuttered, shaking her head furiously, "N-No, t-the legends... If you cultivate dark mana, you will—"

Valley\'s three voices harmonized as she interrupted, her eyes glowing brighter. "Come, Jane. Embrace the blessing."

Without waiting for a response, she grabbed Jane\'s arm with an iron grip, dragging her toward the window where the purple moon bathed the world in its cursed light.

"NOOOO!!" Jane screamed, trying to wrench herself free, but Valley\'s strength was unnaturally overwhelming. Her heart pounded in her chest as panic surged through her veins. She pushed and resisted, but it was futile. Valley easily overpowered her and forced her to the window.

Valley\'s hands clamped down on Jane\'s face from behind while her fingers dug into her cheeks. Her voices dripped with dark intent.

"Look at the moon, Jane,"

"YOUNG LADY! PLEASE!" Jane begged. Tears spilled from her eyes as she clenched them shut, refusing to obey.

"LOOK AT THE MOOOOOOON!!" Valley shrieked. Her three voices merged into a terrifying chorus. She pried Jane\'s eyelids open with her fingers, forcing her to gaze at the haunting purple moon.

The moment Jane\'s eyes locked onto the lunar surface, she froze. Her struggling ceased, and her body went limp as if all the fight had been drained from her. Her arms dropped to her sides, and she stood there, motionless.

Valley released Jane. Then, she wrapped her arms around Jane from behind.

She leaned in close, whispering in her ear. Her cold breath caressed Jane\'s skin. "That\'s right, Jane. Do you feel it? Do you feel the blessing of the Demon God?"

Jane\'s eyes were glassy while her mind slowly slipped into darkness as the corrupting influence of the moon seeped into her soul.

Valley smiled, satisfied. The transformation had begun.
