Chapter 36 Chapter 35 Female Major Demon_1
The Kirin Immortality Medicine reincarnates.
An ancient sage once speculated that there were actually no Kirin in the world; that the Kirin was merely a figment of people\'s imagination. The sightings of Kirin recorded in history were believed by him to be sightings of the Kirin Immortality Medicine.
Without opening their Heavenly Eye, people could easily mistake the Kirin Immortality Medicine as a Kirin, just as Lu Yang is now. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"Uncle Ba sent me here to loosen the soil," he said.
"Oh, so you\'re here to aerate the soil. Can you use the magic skills of the five elements?" The Little Medicinal Kings seemed pleased to hear this.
Finally, someone\'s here to work.
Lu Yang looked troubled: "I can\'t say I\'m really good at it, I learned it by accident. I\'m not sure if it counts as the magic skills of the five elements, but I am definitely capable of digging."
Lu Yang felt that what he was displaying was a space magic skill. Its manifestation just happens to resemble the magic skills of the five elements.
"Whether it counts as magic skills of five elements is not important, being able to dig is all that matters," the Time Termination Flower said, nonchalantly.
Ever since the earthworm couple took a vacation, they would often hear complaints from the herbal plants about the soil being too hard to grow in and not breathable. They wished they could pull out their roots for a breath of fresh air and get some sun. This left the Little Medicinal Kings in a quandary.
But now, this problem could be solved.
Very few people know the existence of the Medicinal Kings. Even Lu Yang himself didn\'t recognize any before. The potency of the Little Medicinal Kings goes against heaven\'s will. If they appeared in the outer world, they would surely drive the Great Powers of cultivation crazy.
No, on second thought, there is one he recognizes.
Lu Yang recognized the sunflower held by Time Termination Flower — its petals opening and closing, the black shell falling off, and the jade-white seed becoming nourishment for the Medicinal King — it was eating sunflower seeds.
And it had thrown the shells all over the ground.
He wondered if this counted as a form of cannibalism.
"Oh, this is a sunflower," the Time Termination Flower noticed Lu Yang\'s gaze and introduced.
Lu Yang thought to himself, I know.
The Medicinal Kings weren\'t very large. Rather than saying it was eating the seeds, it seemed more like it was gnawing at them while holding on to them. It was clear that the Time Termination Flower was enjoying it.
"End King, you\'re littering again. How many times have I told you, we are plants, not humans. We shouldn\'t be eating sunflower seeds like them. The shells are edible too!" Kirin Immortality Medicine bellowed with rage, scolding Time Termination Flower for recklessly imitating the human race.
The Time Termination Flower, being its nonchalant self, retorted: "I grew these sunflowers. I can eat them however I want. What\'s it to you? Pfft."
This undoubtedly incited the wrath of Kirin Immortality Medicine as it pounced towards Time Termination Flower in resentment. The two Little Medicinal Kings started fighting without exchanging any words. One on top of the other, neither of them actually inflicting any harm.
Ginseng King and the Three-Leafed Star Grass were no strangers to their odd behaviors, they hollered at Lu Yang to demonstrate how to tunnel into the earth.
"Don\'t mind them, once they\'re tired, they\'ll stop fighting," they chimed.
Coming out of the wooden hut, Lu Yang spotted an enormous tree. Its robust roots looked as thick as legs, nothing short of invigorating. The dense leaves rustled with the wind.
"Enlightenment Tree?"
Lu Yang was quite surprised. Even when he returned to his normal size, the Enlightenment Tree could still be deemed as towering over the sky, being too grand for several dozen people to hug together, let alone his current height of three inches.
The Enlightenment Tree had Dao rhythms flowing around it. The rustling of its leaves sounded like the Dao Sound. It was as if the universe\'s greatest Dao culminated within this tree\'s body, granting it substance. The Enlightenment Tree was mysterious and solemn, not to be violated lightly.
"This is the Enlightenment Tree that I have told you about. We call it the Tree King. Its talent in Dao arts is matchless," it declared.
How gifted would an Enlightenment Tree be if it became sentient, considering its leaves alone could aid people in achieving enlightenment? Lu Yang could hardly imagine.
The Medicinal Kings may seem frail, but each of them possesses divine abilities and should not be taken lightly.
Without any survival tricks, they would not have lived till this day based purely on the mercy of the Human race.
The huge tree laughed and bantered, "Ginseng King, you rascal, you\'re killing me with compliments again. If I\'m the ultimate talent, then what would that female demon be?"
"Who is this female demon?" Judging from the Little Medicinal Kings\' tone, this didn\'t seem to be a pleasant person.
"Aside from Little Ba, only the female demon could come to the medicinal garden. The female demon is extremely powerful. None of us could match her. She picks whatever she wants and there\'s no herb that can stop her!"
"She broke off several of my old ginseng roots. The pain had me lying in bed recuperating for days," Ginseng King angrily denounced the ruthless acts of the female demon.
"She even plucked several stars off the surface of my leaves. Look, aren\'t these few stars dimmer than the rest? I have no idea how long it\'ll take for them to grow back!"
Around the Little Medicinal Kings, the female demon\'s atrocities were beyond listing, crying out for vengeance.
"What angers me more is that she said she\'s going to use these things to take a bath. Can you imagine, she\'s actually bathing with parts of our bodies. How perverted is that!"
"Also, I heard from Little Ba, this female demon holds a high position in your Seek Dao Sect. Her name is Yun Zhi," said one of them.
Lu Yang was silent...
He found himself not surprised at all with this revelation. Was it a problem with Eldest Senior Sister or a problem with him?
Lu Yang laughed awkwardly, unsure of what to say: "Um, about that, I think the Eldest Senior Sister that you mentioned... I think I know her. She\'s my Eldest Senior Sister."
The Enlightenment Tree King burst out laughing and didn\'t take it to heart: "It\'s no big deal. Isn\'t every disciple of the Seek Dao Sect calling her Eldest Senior Sister? Do you think by saying you\'re her Junior Brother, we are going to be angry with you? You\'re underestimating us, the Medicinal Kings. We\'ve survived for countless years, how could we mind a tiny member of the Human race?"
Seeing the rational response from the Enlightenment Tree King, Lu Yang was relieved, "That\'s great. It seems like it doesn\'t matter whether I\'m her Junior Brother, since we\'re both disciples of the same master."
The laughter of Enlightenment Tree King came to an abrupt halt, even the breeze brushing past his face stopped, and the rustling leaves were silent.
Ginseng King waved his hard-earned roots around while a menacing smile crept upon its calm demeanor.
The stars on the surface of the Three-Leafed Star Grass turned, reminding one of a erupting volcano, ready to take its revenge.
The air was instantly filled with murderous intent.
Lu Yang calmly explained, "Hold on, don\'t be hasty! Do you think just because I\'m Yun Zhi\'s Junior Brother that I\'m automatically on her side?"
Ginseng King looked suspiciously at Lu Yang, slowing its root-waving motion, "Isn\'t that the case?"
The Enlightenment Tree King along with Three-Leafed Star Grass also held their attacks for the moment.
"You are absolutely mistaken!" Lu Yang strongly declared, his hands clenched tightly into fists, showing a painful expression as if recalling some unbearable events from the past.
"The thought of that female demon\'s conduct is simply infuriating! Not to mention the suffering you guys have faced. I myself am a victim of her cruelty as well!"
"On the surface, my future might seem bright and promising, but who could I possibly share my sufferings with?"
