The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 283: 283: As Long as You Want to Do It, You Can Do It

“I am truly honored,” Luo Ziling said, promptly opening his mouth wide to take in the whole oyster, and while still eating it, he commented, “This might be the best tasting one out of the dozen roasted oysters.”

“That’s not necessarily true,” Yang Qingyin laughed, using her chopsticks to pick up a piece of roasted fish, “The Wan Zhou roasted fish near our school really does taste good, but I dare not eat too much of it.”

“Senior, you’re too good to me, I can do it myself,” Luo Ziling, feeling pleasantly surprised that Yang Qingyin actually fed him, “You should eat too.”

“Alright,” Yang Qingyin didn’t refuse and started eating an oyster herself.

Actually, she never used to have supper, it wasn’t a habit and she feared it would make her gain weight.

Last time on the Bashang Grassland, she broke this rule, and today she did it again.

The taste of the roasted oysters was really quite good, and seeing Luo Ziling enjoy his meal so thoroughly, Yang Qingyin let go of her restraint and ate two of them in quick succession. She also ate a fair amount of the roasted fish and other foods.

“Ah, I forgot to bring back some beer,” Luo Ziling felt a bit of regret, “Having a drink with Senior would definitely taste great.”

“Next time, the next time you treat me to supper, I’ll have a drink with you,” Yang Qingyin smiled brightly.

Fearing grease stains on the computer, the two of them didn’t touch the laptop while having supper. Yang Qingyin had set the photos she just downloaded onto the computer to play automatically. The thing was, there weren’t many photos on her phone, most of them were on Luo Ziling’s phone.

Most of the photos she took were of Luo Ziling, so during supper, Luo Ziling saw his own brilliant smile from the trip they took together. His lively expression was so vivid that he couldn’t help but grin, “Senior, don’t I look pretty good when I smile?”

Yang Qingyin glanced at the photo, then back at Luo Ziling, and with a sly smile, she said, “You look terribly ugly, no one looks worse than you.”

Luo Ziling was immediately crestfallen, but upon seeing Yang Qingyin smiling so heartily, he chuckled again, “Anyway, I think I look quite good. Look at this, my eyes are so pure and bright, don’t you find them attractive?”

To his surprise, upon hearing his words, Yang Qingyin let out a slight sigh.

“What’s wrong?” Luo Ziling immediately filled with confusion, “Do you really think I look ugly in the photos?”

He felt deeply affected.

“How could that be? You do look pretty good,” Yang Qingyin said wistfully, and then added, “If it weren’t for that smile, there wouldn’t be all this trouble now.”

Luo Ziling was stunned for a moment, but soon understood the meaning behind Yang Qingyin’s words.

“There is always a solution when we come to the mountain. With me here, don’t be afraid of anything,” Luo Ziling picked up a piece of fish and fed Yang Qingyin. As she slightly parted her red lips to bite into the fish, Luo Ziling continued with a smile, “Even the highest peak of Tianshan, the 7435-meter Tomur Peak, was no obstacle for me, I fear nothing. The saying my grandfather taught me, ‘If you want to do it, you can achieve it,’ I believe in it wholeheartedly.”

“If you want to do it, you can achieve it,” this sentence uttered by Luo Ziling gave Yang Qingyin a startling jolt.

Soon, any trace of gloom on her face vanished, and her smile returned.

“This fish is quite tasty, feed me another piece,” she coquettishly requested, quite unusually.

Of course, Luo Ziling wouldn’t disappoint her; he quickly picked up a tender piece of fish and fed it to her.

Yang Qingyin’s adorable way of opening her little mouth to eat was so irresistible that Luo Ziling couldn’t help but want to bite her lips.

Noticing Luo Ziling’s gaze fixed dazedly on her mouth, Yang Qingyin’s cheeks reddened, and with a sideways glance, she chided, “What are you looking at? Is the way I eat that ugly?”

“No,” Luo Ziling shook his head, “It’s very pretty, so mesmerizing. Senior, every move you make is beautiful; no wonder you’ve topped the beauty rankings at school for years without anyone replacing you.”

“What are you talking about,” said Yang Qingyin, her heart fluttering with pleasure at his compliment, but her face showed disdain, “Who cares about some beauty rankings.”

“Exactly, who cares about that? Senior’s beauty is surely earth-shattering, capable of moving spirits and gods…”

“Junior,” Yang Qingyin, amused by Luo Ziling’s exaggerated expression, stuffed a piece of fish into his mouth, then scolded, “If you keep talking nonsense, I’ll get annoyed.”

“Alright,” Luo Ziling immediately changed his expression, “You mean you’d be happy if I said you were very ugly instead?”

“Hmph, you only know how to tease people. I know I’m not pretty, but you don’t have to keep calling me an ugly monster.”

“If you’re an ugly monster, then I’m a hideous monster, no, a doubly hideous monster,” Luo Ziling said seriously, making a joke.

Yang Qingyin burst into laughter again.

She didn’t know why, but she just loved to laugh when she was around Luo Ziling. A casual remark from him could make her laugh. However, in other situations, even when someone told a very funny joke, she just couldn’t find it in herself to laugh.

Since she wasn’t in the habit of eating late at night, Yang Qingyin didn’t eat much.

Claiming to be full, she pushed the rest of the food to Luo Ziling, and considerately made him a cup of tea.

Luo Ziling knew that Yang Qingyin didn’t eat much at night to maintain her figure, so he didn’t mind and quickly finished off the rest of the food.

After eating, he went to wash his hands in the bathroom.

Upon entering the bathroom and seeing the many little things belonging to girls hanging there, his face turned red, and he hastily escaped. Yang Qingyin didn’t notice this detail, but seeing Luo Ziling’s red face, she realized why and found the easily-embarrassed young man even more endearing.

Once everything was tidied up, they started looking at photos.

In Luo Ziling’s camera, there were either pictures of Yang Qingyin or their selfies, and there were many of them.

Although Luo Ziling’s photography skills were not great, the pictures turned out well since Yang Qingyin was very cooperative, and she was indeed very pretty.

Seeing that her photos turned out pretty well, Yang Qingyin was quite pleased.

Luo Ziling also had a grin on his face, looking very smug.

When they came across a photo of them riding horses, Luo Ziling said to Yang Qingyin with a laugh, “Seeing this picture reminds me of the protagonists from a novel.”

“Which novel?”

“Zhang Danfeng and Yun Lei from ‘Traces of the Wanderer.’

Yang Qingyin paused there, lost in thought.
