365-Day Trial Marriage With Hunk: Wife's A Little Wild

Chapter 237: 237: Thoroughly Investigate Everything

It took her a moment to react, she turned to look at the housekeeper, “You decide. I’m in a hurry to get to the office.”

“Miss, you haven’t had breakfast yet!” The butler slapped his forehead, and turned around to go to the kitchen.

“No need, I’m short on time.” Qin Youxuan was saying while bending over to put on her shoes.

By the time she finished putting on her shoes, the butler had already returned.

He was holding a packaged sandwich in his hand, which he handed over to her.

“Skipping breakfast is bad for your health. Miss, take this with you to the office. Whenever you have time, have a bite. You shouldn’t keep leaving your stomach empty.”

Qin Youxuan looked down at the warm meal in her hand, her eyes slightly moist. She looked up at the housekeeper, his hair peppered with gray and nodded heavily.

After taking her breakfast, she finally turned around and left the Qin family mansion.

She had driven off in her car and looked back at the row of people waiting for interviews. She still felt it was peculiar.

She rubbed her arms and then focused her attention on driving.

Unlike Qin Youxuan’s good mood in the morning.

From early in the morning, the president’s office area of the Dan Group was plunged into a low-pressure center.

Many people had gone into the president’s office to report, only to be scolded and kicked out.

One regional manager, who must have had eight lifetimes of bad luck, chose this time to submit a report with errors, and Dan Hanjie immediately fired him.

Immediately, everyone received the signal that the president was in a bad mood today.

“Knock, knock—”

After knocking respectfully, Yao walked straight in with documents in hand.

“Mr. Jie, these are the names of the people who, as you instructed, applied for positions at the Qin’s and were subsequently selected. A few of them are skilled workers.”

Dan Hanjie was sitting with his back to his desk, the expensive office chair turned to face the large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.

Upon hearing Yao’s words, he moved his fingers slightly and turned his body.

His thin lips parted slightly, “Have their backgrounds been thoroughly checked?”

“Yes, they’ve all been checked. I instructed them to show up after Jin Chenye left and given that these people are masters of disguise and concealment, their backgrounds have also been meticulously scrubbed. Looking at their resumes, there’s no issue. Even if Jin Chenye wanted to investigate, he wouldn’t know where to start.”

“With them staying at the Qin’s to protect Miss Qin, there shouldn’t be any problems.”

Yao placed the list on the table for Dan Hanjie to review.

“Before they officially start working, have them go through training one more time. I need everything to be foolproof.”

“Understood.” Yao responded respectfully.

“Is there anything else?” Dan Hanjie tapped the list with his fingertips, pressing it under his palm, his cold eyes glanced at Yao.

“Mr. Jie, you asked me to keep an eye on the stock market of Qin Group. It seems there were a few anomalies today.” Yao briefed him precisely, opened the laptop in his hand, adjusted the trend graph, and then placed it in front of Dan Hanjie.

Dan Hanjie skimmed it. His eyes tightened, “Someone is silently buying up Qin Group’s scattered shares.”

“Yes, the move is very subtle and is not made through the same account. It’s hard to detect. If we hadn’t already been on guard, we probably wouldn’t have noticed for a while.”

Yao paused for a moment, “I had someone follow these accounts. It was found that they all trace back to the same place, confirming that indeed someone is deliberately gathering the scattered shares of Qin Group on the stock market. And this person should be Jin Chenye.”
