365-Day Trial Marriage With Hunk: Wife's A Little Wild

Chapter 162: Move a Chair by Yourself

“…I’m fine, I was just a bit scared.” Qin Youxuan whispered as she watched Yao walk away.

Seeing the anxious look in Dan Hanjie’s eyes, a warm current suddenly flowed through her heart.

“Are you full?” Dan Hanjie diverted his gaze and sat down on the sofa.

“Yes, I am. I’m going upstairs to change.” Qin Youxuan glanced at her pajamas, stood up without another word, and ran upstairs.

The view from Yujing Villa is beautiful, but it’s not as fun being there alone compared to going out with him.

Qin Youxuan darted upstairs almost at the speed of light, and in no time, she came back down, dressed in fresh clothes, clutching the phone Dan Hanjie had retrieved for her.

“I’m ready, are we leaving now?” With a pant, Qin Youxuan hurried down the stairs, afraid that if she dawdled, Dan Hanjie might leave without her.

Her pure white dress perfectly highlighted her enchanting figure.

The white greatly complemented her fair, rosy skin and somewhat toned down her rebellious aura.

Below the knee-length dress slightly puffed out, the cinched waist design accentuating her figure, and the lustrous pearl round collar made Qin Youxuan look considerably more docile.

“Beautiful.” Dan Hanjie hooked his lips upward, approached her, and bent down to kiss her lips.

“Aren’t we going out?” Qin Youxuan gently pushed him, her eyes blinking like a curious kitten.

She realized that he seemed to enjoy kissing her more and more…

These high-intensity and high-density kisses seriously tire her out.

Moreover, his attitude, like he’s appeasing his pet, makes her feel uneasy all over.

“Feeling better?” After a sideways glance at Qin Youxuan reassured Dan Hanjie that she had moved on from her fear of the fire, he lifted his arm and said, “Let’s go, then.”

Watching Dan Hanjie extend her an invitation, Qin Youxuan felt all her eagerness to leave disappear.

She naturally looped her arm through his and pouted, letting him lead her outside.

“Get a chair and sit next to me.”

It wasn’t until they entered the CEO’s office of Dan Group that Dan Hanjie let go of her hand.

“No need, I’ll just sit on the sofa and watch.”

Qin Youxuan, with sharp eyes, spotted the materials prepared by Yao on the table. She picked them up and quickly tiptoed away from Dan Hanjie.

Joking aside, she had been bold enough to distract him at his desk when she was naive. Now that she knows his “ill-intentions”, she would naturally keep her distance!

Dan Hanjie watched her scamper away, his eyes flickering, but he didn’t stop her.

Being relaxed but alert is necessary at all times.

In the postmodern office, they sat at a great distance from each other.

While Dan Hanjie was dealing with a pile of pending documents, Qin Youxuan was sprawled on the sofa, studying the materials prepared by Yao.

Secretaries frequently came in to bring in documents or remind Dan Hanjie about his scheduled meetings.

At first, Qin Youxuan would uncomfortably get up from the sofa every time an outsider entered. But after dealing with it multiple times, and especially after meeting Secretary Chen who brought her clothes, she became less inhibited.

“Miss Qin, Mr. Jie’s meeting might not end until noon. He asked me to tell you to wait for him for lunch.” Chen Xin held a pile of documents needed for the meeting, entered the office respectfully, and stopped in front of Qin Youxuan.

“Ah?” Qin Youxuan was engrossed in studying a latest business crisis case when she heard someone talking and paused, momentarily startled.
